Market in the grounds of the Altes AKH, running since 1999. Alongside craft work and design there is Eisstockschießen (Bavarian curling), fairground rides and a fairy-tale forest. On Tuesdays students with ID get reduced-price punch from 19:00 to 22:00; at weekends there is a children's programme in the Josefinialm.

What to eat and drink here

Punch, mulled wine, roast chestnuts and fried potatoes, plus a wider selection of hot dishes from Austrian caterers. Hot drinks in Vienna in 2025 mostly cost between 4.50 and 6 EUR, plus a deposit on the mug (usually 3–5 EUR in Vienna).
